MoodBoard

       I used the space setting to create mystery and adventure. It makes the characters look small compared to the universe but also brave for exploring it. I wanted the audience to feel curious, amazed, and inspired by the unknown.   I chose the haunted house and basement because they create a creepy and unsettling feeling. I wanted the audience to assume the characters were in danger or about to experience something scary. The dark and abandoned look makes the place feel unsafe and builds tension. I chose the carnival because it feels fun, colorful, and exciting. At the same time, the busy lights and crowds can seem overwhelming. I wanted the audience to feel the mix of joy and chaos that the characters might experience there. I picked the classrooms to show a normal and everyday environment. I wanted the audience to see the characters as regular students living their daily school life. The bright light and simple setting make it feel calm and familiar. ...

Foley sound project

This is my Foley sound project that I did with my classmate Asmina ( https://azminahossainblog.blogspot.com/?m=1 ) Our project includes 10 of our Foley sounds all put together to make one scene, and four videos of us creating individual sounds. Scene: Study Day at the Library 1.Opening the library door 2. Saying “good morning” to the library staff 3.key board clicking 4.Flipping through books 5. walking/footsteps 6.Pulling out a chair to sit 7. Background chatter of students 8.   Camerawork Breakdown: First 2 Minutes of  Stranger Things  season1 ep1 0:00–0:20 – Slow pan + creepy lab reveal The scene opens with a slow pan down from the night sky to Hawkins Lab. This movement sets the mood right away. It feels mysterious and secretive, pulling the audience into something serious. The lab looks big and important, almost like it's hiding something. 0:20–0:40 – Flickering lights and slow movement has tension Inside the lab, the lights flicker and the camera moves slowly through the hallway. The shaky lights and quiet sounds build suspense. It feels like something dangerous is about to happen, even though we don’t see what it is yet. 0:40–1:00 – High-angle shot of scientist running A high-angle shot shows a scientist running through the hallway. The camera looks down on him, making him seem small and powerless.
