CAMERA MOVEMENTS

CAMERA MOVEMENTS

This is a Steadicam shot, it keeps the camera steady and enables a smooth                                                    movement. In this video this is a steadicam shot showcasing the books and                                                    genres in a library. The meaning of this shot is to show there are many options                                              in the library for books.

This is a Dolly shot, which means the camera is physically moving through scenes. This video is showing a murder that happened and as the camera is shown it adds dramatic effect and gives information on who killed the man on the ground. The meaning of this video is to show irony because the audience knows more then the people.

This is a the Tilt shot, it remains static but moves up and down. The meaning of this video is to visualize the girl from the eye to all of her features, it shows how one small detail can become a huge detail.

This is a Tracking shot, it follows a moving subject and its smooth and continuous. This is to show the events that led up to a murder where the victim is being followed into they're last moment's shouting "dont kill me" which also adds irony because it's most likely gonna happen regardless

This is a Zoom shot, which is the process of bringing the audience closer to a subject by adjusting the camera lens rather than physically moving the camera. This video is showing the book getting closer to ensure all details are shown of the book.

This is reverse zoom, a movement that zooms in and then back out, which adds dramatic effect. The meaning of this video alone is to show the impact of the book in the boys face, the before and after affect of how the book changed him.
