Challenges in Film

                                                                             CHALLENGES IN FILM

We have encountered a few difficulties since we began filming. Being allowed to film in the actual location has been one of the biggest challenges we have encountered. Finding a peaceful, remote location to film in is challenging because schools typically have a large number of students in one area at once. In order to overcome this obstacle, we have made the decision to film exclusively after school and in study halls. This will allow us to obtain accurate shots with the fewest possible interruptions. Additionally, due to space constraints while filming, we have had trouble obtaining a range of angles and shots, such as aerial and wide shots. To get around this, we have been coming up with ideas and have been thinking of ways to get to our filming spots faster so they won't be crowded by the time we arrive in order to acquire a variety of angles and shots, such as aerial shots and wide shots, due to the restricted area during filming. Lastly, everyone's availability has been a problem thus far. Since most of us have clubs and extracurricular activities after school, it has been hard for us to regularly film. We shall designate days of the week when none of us have extracurricular activities or after-school meetings in order to overcome this. Everyone is doing a good job, and I believe that we are all contributing fairly and cooperating as a team.
